Go over some common questions asked in every pharmacy school interview (i.e. Introduce yourself, Why pharmacy?, Why this school?)
Applicants were consistently impressed by the approachability and friendliness of the faculty, noting that they took the time to engage with them and answer their questions thoroughly. This welcoming and supportive environment was a positive highlight for many applicants.
Generally, faculty were pretty approachable and friendly and took their time to speak with us.
Applicants commonly expressed disappointment with negative interactions during interviews, citing instances of rudeness or criticism from interviewers. They suggested that interviewers should maintain professionalism and provide constructive feedback to create a more positive experience for candidates.
One of the interviewers was pretty rude, criticized one of the answers I gave and was generally quite short and rude with me
Many applicants wished they had known more about the structure and content of the interview day ahead of time, including the specific activities and timing involved. They also highlighted the importance of receiving an itinerary in advance to better prepare for the various components of the interview process.
(online interview day) I had a later interview day in late February and there were only two other interviewees. The day consisted of two 20 minute interviews, a writing assignment, some interviewee group work (work as a group to answer a prompt, and work as a group to defend a silly prompt in a debate), and a presentation about the school. They give an itinerary of the day ahead of time so you know generally the timing of the events of the day.
