How did you prepare for the interview?
Applicants commonly prepared for the interview by conducting mock interviews in front of a mirror and practicing with questions from other pharmacy schools. They also researched the school, its website, news about the pharmacy field, and current events to be well-informed and ready for the interview.
Applicants were overwhelmingly impressed by the welcoming and friendly environment of the school, the modern facilities such as the new pharmacy building, and the student-centered approach of the program. Additionally, the beautiful campus setting and strong connections with the local community were highlighted as positive aspects that left a lasting impression on applicants.
Everything about the school from the student panel to the interview to the beautiful sight of the lake right on campus.
Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. The pharmacy building is gorgeous and brand new. The day flowed nicely. The interviewers were very friendly. Everything is student oriented. They seem to have nice connections in the Milwaukee area and they created the schedule with the students' best interests in mind.
Applicants commonly expressed negative impressions regarding limited visibility of the campus due to weather conditions, and an overwhelming religious influence. Suggestions include providing virtual tours or alternative viewing options for adverse weather conditions, as well as ensuring a balanced representation of religious influence on campus.
Applicants commonly wished they had known about the innovative features of the school, such as scheduling and security measures. Additionally, many emphasized the importance of comfortable shoes due to the amount of stairs on campus.
The impressive things they have implemented to make this school a major competitor with the older schools. From the scheduling to the cameras in the hoods. It's amazing how student-centered the school really is.
Applicants generally found the school impressive and professional, but expressed concern about the lack of accreditation. They feel that the school shows promise but suggest working towards accreditation to improve its reputation and credibility.
Quite impressive. The only thing that I don't like is that it's not accredited. The other schools I have scheduled to interview have a lot of work to do to live up to what I encountered in Wisconsin!
What are your suggestions for the admissions office?
Applicants commonly suggested that the admissions office improve communication by ensuring clear signage and avoiding overly strong religious sentiments during the application process.
The sign outside said Pharmacy School Interviews use front door but had an arrow pointing to the wrong side of the building.
The religious sentiment was WAY too strong. I was looking to learn pharmacy, I can find a church elsewhere. Try to keep religious questions out of the interview. And consider not signing the welcome packet "your in Christ". It was a little much.
