✅ Interview Preparation and Impressions

How is the friendliness of the admissions office?

How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

10 out of 10

How did you prepare for the interview?

SDN, my AADSAS, met with students and former faculty to find out about what the school was looking for, school website

What impressed you positively?

It had the best of everything. Amazing faculty, high boards and tons of students specializing, P/F system, great facilities, the view is incredible

What impressed you negatively?

not a thing about the school, I just wish SF was cheaper to live in

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

That the student interview was 2 applicants per 1 student simultaneously. There's also a 30 free-response essay

What are your general comments?

This was by far the most impressive school I interviewed at. I was really amazed, and I think that it made more nervous than I needed to be. Overall I thought the admissions faculty treated us like gold and the students seemed to love the school. I thought that closed file interviews were not very effective, and felt like I had a hard time getting all my points across in the 30 minutes because my interviewer had to get to know me from scratch. I came away feeling a little uneasy about the faculty interview, but it must have been fine because I just got accepted.

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

Bob McKenzie should get a raise. Nicest guy in the world
