What impressed you positively?

Interviewer was very nice and helpful. Oakland area around the school was very nice.

What impressed you negatively?

Facilities are just ok. The interview day was very unorganized and there were at least 50 applicants that day. Lots of unnecessary downtime. Admissions office emphasized listening to students about why you should come here - then students lamented about the super competitive nature of the classes, difficulty finding patients, and lack of study time for boards. Admissions office was not particularly helpful during the day and strangely unfriendly.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

All of the negative comments above.

What are your general comments?

If you already have an acceptance and have no particular reason for going to Pitt, I wouldn't waste your money on an interview here - there are much better schools out there.

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

Too much downtime. Streamline things a little more. A writing sample? Really?
