What is one of the specific questions they asked you?
Why do you want to be a dentist?
How did you prepare for the interview?
Read and rehearsed commonly asked interview questions. Do this! In the group interview, you could tell who didn’t practice.
What was the most difficult question?
Honestly, none of them were difficult. Pick out a favorite book and have a planned response to the “favorite book” question ahead of time.
What impressed you positively?
Location. When touring the students had very good things to say about the school. State of the art equipment. Pass rates.
What impressed you negatively?
One of the presenters for the presentation told everyone to wait until senior year to take the DAT. That is a bad idea. That and maybe PBL, but it seems to be excellent for those who like it.
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
That the interview was NOT stressful at all. Everyone was super friendly.
