✅ Interview Preparation and Impressions

How is the friendliness of the admissions office?

How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

10 out of 10

How did you prepare for the interview?

I read over my application, and I practiced answering questions posted here as well as other common interview questions.

What impressed you positively?

I was seriously impressed with DMU. The interview day is structured well, and it's designed to be very low stress. Interviewees had ample opportunities to speak candidly with current students, and I really liked that transparency--it showed that DMU had nothing to hide.

What impressed you negatively?

I have no criticisms.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

My interview was very short compared to those of other interviewees. After the interview, I was pretty freaked out about that and was sure that I was not going to be accepted. However, I was ultimately accepted, so if your interview is short, know that it's not necessarily a bad thing and there's no reason to stress.

What are your general comments?

DMU is a great school! The students and faculty seem genuinely happy to be there, and everyone is so friendly.
