How do students from this program do after graduation - are they adequately prepared for practice?

From what I have heard, students feel adequately prepared entering intern year.

What are rotations like?

Most are rural with a couple metropolitan options. The rotation sites near LUCOM seem fine. Everyone who rotates at one of the out of state sites raves about it. Most of these sites are very rural, but students learn a lot because of how hands on their preceptors allow them to be.

How do students from this program do in the Match?

Above average for a DO program, but still mostly FM/IM. Most of the 4th years I knew last year matched their top choice with a couple matching top 5.

Any other information you want to share?

I am very glad with my decision to attend LUCOM, and the overall mental health of my peers seems better than my peers at other schools.
