New facility that is updated. Very well maintained. Maybe a bit of bland buildings but nice lecture halls.

How do students from this program do after graduation - are they adequately prepared for practice?

Very prepared. If you look at the matching statistics, CCOM is by far the most competitive DO program and matches into competitive specialties like gen surg, ortho, urology, etc.

What are rotations like?

Rotations can either be in the suburbs around downers grove or in the city of chicago.

How do students from this program do in the Match?

Very well. 98% of the class graduating in 2024 got a match. It is by far the most competitive DO school as far as matches go and matches better than many MD schools. In 2024, out of 205 student to start the class, 5 matched anesthesia, 25 EM, 8 Gen surg, 50 internal, 2 Neuro, 5 obgyn, 1 optho, 5 ortho surg, 1 ENT, 5 PM&R, 6 radiology, 7 surg prelim, 1 interventional rad, 2 urology.
