The Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, the oldest unit of Long Island University, was established in 1886 as the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy by the Kings County Pharmaceutical Society

Curriculum

In addition to the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) program, the College offers M.S. and Ph.D degrees in a variety of pharmacy and related administrative and scientific disciplines of particular interest to the pharmaceutical industry.The Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences offers a six-year curriculum leading to the entry-level degree of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Students may enter the professional phase of the program in the Fall semester only.

The school is located in a complex completed in 1976 on the Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University.
