"Reading about POI's research extensively." More from this Member | Report Response

"Read papers by POI and make sure I was well versed in the most recent literature regarding what I wanted to study" More from this Member | Report Response

"Read over professor's research, the program, clinical experiences at the program. " More from this Member | Report Response

"read articles, bios, abstracts of my POI's, read all about program and read bios and interesting abstracts of other faculty, and of course practiced questions (for them, for me) and thought about my own application." More from this Member | Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"Academically the school seems top notch." More from this Member | Report Response

"POI was very interesting and interested. The interview was more of a discussion of interests. The students seem really happy and well-bonded as a group." More from this Member | Report Response

"The faculty and students were SO NICE. They are seemed very happy. " More from this Member | Report Response

"Both students and professors were really friendly, approachable. There were 2 interviews: one was one-on-one and one was in a group. The group one was more of an introduce yourself and then question and answers about the program." More from this Member | Report Response

"smart DT and students, partnership w/ AECOM, MPH training if wish, 3 years of externships. " More from this Member | Report Response

"Nothing" More from this Member | Report Response

"Kind admissions director." More from this Member | Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"The day was poorly organized and chaotic. The location is bad, but close enough to Manhattan. The facilities are okay - the clinic is pretty small and in the basement (along with most classes)." More from this Member | Report Response

"General lack of funding for students. Building itself isn't too flashy, but location is a quick commute to Manhattan." More from this Member | Report Response

"Location IS in the bronx. Building inside isn't that nice. " More from this Member | Report Response

"The whole thing seemed pretty unorganized." More from this Member | Report Response

"no tour, no meeting with other faculty, nothing. this is a great program, and it advertises itself horribly, and is talked about on the NYC interview in a somewhat negative way as a result. the students themselves seemed very smart and driven and happy (despite the lack of funding), but i made a real effort to search out people to talk to. needs a serious pr makeover." More from this Member | Report Response

"Rude interviewer; campus is none-existent; were left to search for students to talk with; didn't get to meet any other faculty than the 1 or 2 ppl that interviewed you; admissions staff not interested in providing a tour; they had no interest in allowing us to ask any questions about the program" More from this Member | Report Response

"No tour, applicants were left to fend for themselves among the coming and going student body in order to try to glean any information about the program." More from this Member | Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"Not to stress out so much!! The professor I interviewed with was so friendly and I never felt as if I were being grilled." More from this Member | Report Response

"no chance to meet other faculty, no tour. i was surprised at these omissions (it was my first interview) and would have been more proactive about exploring the facilities and campus. also, express bus is $ and made me carsick, and subject to the vagaries of NYC traffic -- take the train!" More from this Member | Report Response

"Actual interview was only a few minutes; for those of us flying in from out of state and out of country this is an expensive trip;" More from this Member | Report Response

What are your general comments?

"I had 1 interview with just me, a faculty member and 2 current students. Then there was a group interview with about 7 or 8 applicants, 2 faculty members and 1 current student. The group interview was more of a Q & A - everyone said where they went to school and what their research interests are. The faculty told us about the program and gave us time to ask questions." More from this Member | Report Response

"Overall, impressed me positively - I didn't anticipate liking it as much as I did" More from this Member | Report Response

"This is for the Clinical PsyD program." More from this Member | Report Response

"the student was great, but the faculty interview left me feeling shaky and like i failed (even though i ended up getting in). is ultimately an excellent program, best health psych training save maybe rutgers, in the NYC area and an amazing access to AECOM and public health training, but has AWFUL marketing -- a program for the bold, enterprising, and self starters. " More from this Member | Report Response

"Learning experience; glad I went through it, but not interested anymore in this school. Treated the candidates poorly during the interview process." More from this Member | Report Response

"Autonomy is key @ the Yeshiva interview." More from this Member | Report Response
