"Of all the places I interviewed, OHSU was probably the most well-rounded in terms of quality and breadth of clinical experience, didactics, faculty, etc. The chair, Dr. Kirsch, came from Hopkins a few years ago and is very involved in resident education...clearly a great strength of the program. Didactics are organized in a "spiral" curriculum so each year you are touching back on the same topics but at a deeper level of intricacy and understanding each time. <P> Portland is, of course, a beautiful and eclectic town. Perfect for outdoor-lovers, bicycle enthusiasts, and beer aficionados alike."
