Fantastic faculty, very friendly environment. Ann Arbor is a great city. P/F first two years so very collaborative. Come out feeling very confident clinically.

What do you like least about this school?

Nothing. Had a fantastic experience and would recommend the school to everyone over any school in the country.

One of the best schools in the country hands down. Will set you up to do anything you want to do.

Great lectures, plus video recorded and watch at 2x so 3 hours of lectures becomes 1.5 hours.

A true strength of the school. A challenging third year but you will come out very well prepared and it shows on the interview trail.

You choose one of twelve tracks third year. Core rotations done third year include: Medicine (3 months), Surgery (2 months), Peds (2 months) OBGYN (1.5 months), Psych (1.5 months), Family Med (1 month), Neuro (1 month). Fourth year choose courses with only requirements to do (2 subI's one being in critical care and to also do emergency). Lots of time for interviewing (2 months) plus online course which takes 4 hours for whole month giving you three months to interview. Also vacation month. So basically 4 months off. Really easy to get what you want fourth year also.

What responsibility do med students have on the wards?

Round on patients, take history, do physical, write notes etc.

Everything is available at the university with options to go to affiliates hospitals which is nice. They are all nice.

Tertiary care so patients from all over as well as indignant population

One of the largest and most loyal alumni base. You will not find a better school then this when it comes the graduates all over the country from East coast to West coast.
