What are the facilities and clinics like (old/new, well maintained, etc.)?

"Extremely well maintained facilities. Northwell has a seemingly unlimited war fund for improvements, so the hospitals are constantly being improved and expanded. The School of Medicine itself is <10 years old and specifically designed for the program." Report Response

How do students from this program do after graduation - are they adequately prepared for practice?

"Incredibly well prepared. I’ve now had 5 come from the school behind me to my residency institution, and they have all exceeded expectations." Report Response

What are rotations like?

"Well balanced with great exposure to primary and sub specialty practice. Grading process is opaque but is overall fair." Report Response

How do students from this program do in the Match?

"Varies by specialty. Internal medicine, anesthesia, and pediatrics always do incredibly well, on par with top 25s. Surgical specialties continue to improve with occasional high achievers but are on par with expectations for a newer school." Report Response

Any other information you want to share?

"Scholarships are very generous, and the school also offers a very competitive institutional loan program (when I attended, it was up to 10k/yr at 5% that accumulated no interest until 5 years post graduation). Admin is very responsive to students, and the faculty are very excited to get students involved in research, teaching, and the wards/OR/clinics. Overall, I wouldn’t have traded my time there for the world. I feel grateful for my time at Zucker & feel it prepared me well for residency." Report Response
