What was the most difficult question?

What impressed you positively?
Applicants were positively impressed by the friendliness of the people they met, the welcoming atmosphere, and the efforts made to create an enjoyable experience during the recruitment process. Additionally, the support provided, such as covering travel expenses, was highly appreciated and contributed to a positive impression of the program.

Everyone was very friendly and they really tried to impress the interviewees and make the weekend fun. Psych facilities and Ann Arbor are pretty nice.

Ann Arbor is a great town, the students were all really friendly and happy

Everyone is incredibly kind! I'm from the East Coast and was unused to this. I almost thought it was fake until I started attending in the fall and realized how genuinely kind everyone is. Also, Michigan paid for all of my travel arrangements, which was a nice touch!

What impressed you negatively?

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

They emphasized the importance of feeling confident in their preparation, not feeling pressured during interviews, and being selective about which social events to attend.
