Curriculum

The Occupational Therapy program offers two professional entry tracks: a Master of Science (M.S.) and an Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD). The M.S. program spans 24 months and requires 67 credits, while the OTD program extends over 33 months with 87 credits. Both programs include on-campus coursework, a six-month faculty-arranged fieldwork experience, and online distance learning during fieldwork. The OTD program further emphasizes interprofessional collaboration, synthesis of theory and research, and specialty practice areas such as physical disabilities, children and youth, mental health, emerging practice, wellness and prevention, and productive aging.
