New York Medical College (NYMC), established in 1860, is a private health sciences institution located in Valhalla, New York. It is a member of the Touro University System and comprises three schools: the School of Medicine (SOM), the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBMS), and the School of Health Sciences and Practice (SHSP). Curriculum

The Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program at NYMC is structured into three phases: Foundational Sciences, Core Clerkships, and Advanced Practice. Phase One spans 18 months and integrates foundational, clinical, and health systems sciences through various instructional modalities, including lectures, small group sessions, laboratories, and simulation exercises. Students engage in early clinical experiences and community-based service learning.
