The Department of Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science is housed in a state-of-the-art, 240,000-square-foot Health Professions Building, which opened in 2024. The facility includes 19 collaborative classrooms, 10 specialty labs, 10 patient exam rooms, 8 speech and audiology research labs, 6 specialty simulation labs, an acute care multi-patient simulation environment, and a 300-seat auditorium. Additionally, the department operates the Occupational Therapy Center within the Institute for Well-Being, providing services to the community and offering students practical experience under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists.
