Clinical training begins early, with students participating in simulated exercises and standardized patient scenarios to build practical skills. The clerkship phase involves rotations in core specialties such as internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, and psychiatry. The final phase emphasizes career exploration, allowing students to tailor their education through electives and sub-internships aligned with their professional interests.

Facilities

In October 2022, the Kirk Kerkorian Medical Education Building officially opened, marking the school's first permanent facility. This five-story, 135,000-square-foot building is designed to accommodate up to 120 students per class and includes state-of-the-art training spaces for clinical skills, a simulation suite, anatomy classrooms, standardized patient rooms, and a cadaver lab. Additional amenities feature a resource center, group study rooms, a café, a student lounge, and a fitness/wellness center. The facility is situated within the Las Vegas Medical District, providing students with proximity to key healthcare institutions.
