The University of Utah's Department of Occupational and Recreational Therapies offers both Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) and Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) programs. The MOT program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) through 2027, while the OTD program is in the candidacy stage, with plans to admit students starting August 2023.
