  • For John Jay, during year one you start clinical work in house for 2.5 hours per week at the John Jay Counseling Center. In years 2-5 you apply to externships around NYC and NJ. There are 300+ externships to apply to so you can specialize in pretty much any setting and with any populaiton you want. You have a different externship each year and must complete a minimum of 3 year-long placements before applying to Internship.
