  • The department director changed several times during my enrollment. There are very limited options for clinical rotations. Even with a class of 8, many of us had to travel 45min-1hr for clinic. There are very few clinics to go to for experience with specialty tests and most of my cohort graduated without clinical experience for conservation, educational audiology, tinnitus evaluations and therapy, electrophysiology, and vestibular evaluations and therapy. For years, 3rd year students have scrambled to get KASAs for specialty tests before leaving for their externships. It is a departmental failure. The building is a repurposed radio tower that actually interferes with diagnostic equipment. It is in an unsafe area of town and you will have night classes.
