The annual "rankings" that come out for vet schools (US News) is based on surveys sent to faculty, staff, and alumni of each school that are then asked to rank their own school's program versus the programs from other schools. They have zero base in academic performance or post-graduate success of their students and graduates. UTK is a phenomenal school and deserves recognition for the physicians it produces.
