The interviews felt like a random requirement and that they were underused by the faculty.

How did you prepare for the interview?
I watched 45 minutes of videos from dukemed.duke.edu - the staff, med students and perspectives didn't even know that they existed.
What impressed you positively?
The place is incredible
What impressed you negatively?
I don't think that the interviewers really tried to get to know me beyond my application.
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
40% of Duke Med students use the 3rd year to work on another degree - but you don't need to apply or proclaim interest until your 2nd year.
Some students are interviewed by Dr. Armstrong.
