How did you prepare for the interview?

What impressed you positively?

the staff organizing the interview day were incredibly helpful and accomadating. the volunteers who ran the MMIs were pleasant and cheerful as well.

What impressed you negatively?

my 1:1 interview was horrible. he seemed disinterested in me, my profile, and why I wanted to be a doctor. 3 basic questions, no follow ups, and made no effort to help the conversation flow. he made this experience into a nightmare scenario.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

that even if my MMIs go well my 1:1 holds more weight.

What are your general comments?

great school, great program, terrible response time for decisions.

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

Have a set date for a decision to be made. If it’s rolling admissions, inform students who interview early of their status earlier into the process even if it’s a rejection.
