How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

10 out of 10

How did you prepare for the interview?

Read over my application and researched the school

What impressed you positively?

How laid back the day was

What impressed you negatively?

One student who ate lunch with my group was too laid back and cursed left and right. She was also very loud and dominated the conversation. Unfortunately she gave me a negative impression of Case.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

They have a set list of about 11 questions that they have to ask you, so it felt less like a conversation. The interviewer also interjected clarifying/more questions while I was still talking. Made it feel a little less relaxing. Also wish I knew that everything happens in their new HEC building (all classes and small-group activities). The building's all white with almost no other colors. Very modern,"beautiful", and minimalist in a sense, but it felt very sterile with not much personality. I felt homesick for whatever reason when I walked around that building.

What are your general comments?

Case is a great school if you don't mind being one in a large student body. I am used to a small environment and did not feel "special" there so to speak.

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

One admissions officer emailed me back addressing me with a completely wrong name (though same first letter) after we had already been emailing back and forth. Felt impersonal, but I understand they're dealing with a lot of people and emails. I also strongly urge the admissions to tell the Case students who are eating lunch with interviewees to be professional and not to curse. It left me with a bad impression of the school and I did not feel inspired by one of the students because of how much she talked, completely overspeaking the other Case student at the table.
