✅ Interview Preparation and Impressions

How is the friendliness of the admissions office?

10 out of 10

How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

8 out of 10

How did you prepare for the interview?

Read about the school on its website, read some articles regarding actual dental issues in the profession, involving more in work and community in order to not feel stressful about it, and prayer!

What impressed you positively?

The calmness of the people interviewing me. It was a chill and nice environment, just like having a conversation.

What impressed you negatively?

I can't say anything negative about my interview! :)

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

I actually think I overprepared! The interview was more easy-going than I thought it was going to be.

What are your general comments?

If you are called for an interview, it means they already saw your DAT scores and GPA and want to get to know you more. Most people feel like they will have to justify these in the interview if they don't have high scores. The interview panel just wants to know you personally. They will NOT ask for GPA or scores, at least at my interview they didn't! They already agree with your DAT and GPA if they are calling you for an interview. Your attitude and personality have to shine in your interview! Your interview is your final chance to prove them that you are one of the best!

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

They could definitely improve on updating applicants about the selection status and process. It does take a while to receive a response of acceptance or denial.
