💬 Interview Questions

What is one of the specific questions they asked you?

I see you applied to many DO schools, why NOVA (good answer here is so that you can increase your probability of getting into osteopathic school, because you believe at least getting a DO degree is better than not getting one at all)
Tell me about yourself Did you apply to M.D. schools?

Tell me about yourself. Talk about vague! It was the first question I got and it threw me off. The funny part is, I knew it was coming because of this website, but my nervousness still took over.

✅ Interview Preparation and Impressions

How is the friendliness of the admissions office?

No responses

How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

No responses

How did you prepare for the interview?

This website and read about their school! They are not research based, so dont go there - they are community service based.

What impressed you positively?

large school with tons of money and a huge reputation. Definitly a plus

What impressed you negatively?

You have to wear scrubs and lab coat every day to school - it is a manditory dress code.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

Nothing really. Actually, I think I over prepared. Try not to do that because it makes you think about what you prepared while in the interview. Just answer the questions hombly.

What are your general comments?

I literally just got out of the interview 3 hours ago. Lets just say this, if you made it to the interview, you are practically in - just don't give them a reason to cross you off the list. All you have to do is read what you sent them (application), brush up on their website and get a feel for what their school "specializes in", and go through a good number of interview questions that they asked in the past using this website. As for me, I may have screwed this interview up because it is my first one. Dr. Tau couldn't even look at me in the eyes while asking me questions - I almost felt like he didn't like me. I like the school and will probably go there if they choose me. Turn around is one to two weeks! We'll see. Good luck - just relax, answer the questions honestly and calmly.
