SDN interview questions, Dr. Gray's guide to the interview, 1-on-1 prep with current MD student friend who knows the DO philosophy well

What was the most difficult question?

Tell me about a time you went out of your comfort zone.

What impressed you positively?

The faculty and students clearly seem happy and the interview was not confrontational in any way.

What impressed you negatively?

The 30-minute strict structure was not ideal. They kick you out of the interview at 30 min. At the end, I was left with 20 seconds of awkwardness.

Maybe a bit more about OMT. I was asked whether or not I experienced OMT

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

Keep the interview 30 minutes, but give a bit of a buffer and have it be more conversational in nature. I think the intention of the structure was to make it so applicants aren't given false hope or too positive of an impression, which I appreciate, but improvements can be made.
