✅ Interview Preparation and Impressions

How is the friendliness of the admissions office?

No responses

How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

No responses

How did you prepare for the interview?

Studied this website, reviewed personal statement, asked around, did mock interviews.

What impressed you positively?

Everyone was very friendly and positive about the school and its program, both for the SBL and PBL tracks.

What impressed you negatively?

This is a small town. I went to undergrad in a small town, but this is a SMALL TOWN. Walmart is the big place to shop.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

There is a ton of outdoorsy stuff to do--hiking, fishing, skiing, climbing. If you like that sort of thing, you may enjoy coming to this school.

What are your general comments?

The interview was very relaxed. They really weren't trying to trip you up or confuse you, they just want to talk. I was very impressed by the way they stand by their school...great loyalty. Dr. Leach is incredibly nice. I asked the interview board about reasons for expanding their program, and their first answer was money...apparently their funding has been slashed. That was a little concerning, but overall, a blip on the radar.
