✅ Interview Preparation and Impressions

How is the friendliness of the admissions office?

No responses

How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

No responses

How did you prepare for the interview?

re-read AMCAS, mock interview, studied up on Drexel website

What impressed you positively?

The school facilities - every thing is new and very technologically comprehensive. Also the friendliness of the students

What impressed you negatively?

My student interviewer stopped our interview for a minute (it was in the school cafeteria) to chat quickly with a friend - unprofessional!

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

The faculty does essentially no research - they are there solely to teach. Pros and cons to this, I think.

What are your general comments?

The day felt a bit amateur; the financial aid talk was the admissions staffwoman saying "I don't know anything about financial aid. call this # if you have questions." Also the student interviews are in the cafeteria at lunchtime, so it's not really a formal interview. All in all, Drexel seems fine, but it certainly lacks some of the research opportunities I've seen elsewhere. Also, you don't get to see the hospital unless you interview there.

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?
