How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

How did you prepare for the interview?

I read SDN, reviewed my personal statement and secondary.

What impressed you positively?

I think I was prepared for the worst based on some other comments I read, but I think the location was actually nice. All the students seem very friendly and it seems like a supportive environment.

What impressed you negatively?

I thought the interview day was long. It felt as if information was repeated multiple times. Also, I asked about research opportunities and was told there weren't any and I wouldn't have time for them anyway.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

The library is very nontraditional - almost everything is available only online.

What are your general comments?

Overall, I think this was a great place to have a first interview. It is very low key and very informal.

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?
