How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

How did you prepare for the interview?

Person to Person, Student doctor, and Primary and Secondary applications

What impressed you positively?

The ample opportunity available to do research. Also, Pitt Med is geared towards keeping their students satisfied. The fourth year students seemed real cool, but some of the first year students seemed weird.

What impressed you negatively?

Some of their students seemed very nerdy and competitive. Also, I am not a big fan of Pitt Med's campus.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

They provide funding to do research and volunteer work abroad. Girls make sure to wear flat shoes because you will do a tremendous amount of walking.

What are your general comments?

Both interviews were very laid back and conversational. The student interviewer almost made me cry because he was so funny. The faculty interviewer was very nice. He made it easy for me to open up.

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?
