How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

How did you prepare for the interview?

Read the information in the UPenn packet, their website, and SDN.

What impressed you positively?

The many options of the program, the confidence of the students, the campus and opportunities to enroll in programs at Penn (e.g. Wharton business classes).

What impressed you negatively?

Some parts of the school were a bit old and claustrophobic - although they said that they are trying to remodel and renovate the rest of the school.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

That the campus is so large.

What are your general comments?

It was very laid back and enjoyable. Lunch was provided by the school and it was held in a conference room with three D3 and D4 students who were very friendly and candid about the school. The interview was very laid back. I peppered the interviewer with lots of questions and he said he loved being interviewed and preferred that a student do that then have him fire questions the whole time. Kudos, I guess... The interview with Corky was brief - she stated that my file was complete and wanted to know if I had any questions about Penn or Philly in general. The whole experience was less stressful than what I had imagined and it went very smoothly.
