✅ Interview Preparation and Impressions

How is the friendliness of the admissions office?

10 out of 10

How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

10 out of 10

How did you prepare for the interview?

Read the MSAR and mailing. Asked questions of my student host.

What impressed you positively?

WISER of course. The location of the school. The hospital system. And I even liked the city of Pittsburgh.

What impressed you negatively?

Lecture halls seemed a little dingy. It also rained the entire trip. I thought my faculty interviewer was a little self-absorbed.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

Can't think of anything. I researched the schools I applied to pretty heavily when I began applying.

What are your general comments?

Very chill. Their interview process is just to evaluate you as a person and future colleague. Don't worry about it and be yourself.

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

Ditch the admissions staff for the tour and use medical students. If every other school does it, so
