🎓 The Basics

Overall, how satisfied are you with this program?

0 out of 10

What was the zip code of your residence in high school?

45034

What do you like most?

Nothing. The student life here is tough due to the poorly organized curriculum and depressing given the bad and isolated location.

What do you like least?

Students are treated like a number here. The mental health and well-being of students is not prioritized. The curriculum is objectively awful as the accreditation offices are constantly giving the school low ratings and closely monitoring them. I would highly recommend against attending this school. Very few medical students have a satisfactory experience during their 4 years here.

What are the facilities and clinics like (old/new, well maintained, etc.)?

Some newly built areas but mostly old and drab looking.

How do students from this program do after graduation - are they adequately prepared for practice?

Most students are prevented from reaching their full potential as future providers.

What are rotations like?

Rotations are low quality as many are in rural communities where students can’t make any useful connections. NEOMED doesn’t have a direct affiliation which is a serious disadvantage compared to other medical schools.

How do students from this program do in the Match?

The stats show that students match below the national average. Very few students get into competitive specialities because the school restricts its students in major ways.

Any other information you want to share?

This school does not put its student’s best interest in mind when making executive decisions. Very bad curriculum that is slow to adapt to change. The problem likely stems from the administrators who come off as extremely clueless.
