What was the most interesting question?
They asked a lot of questions! But it flowed nicely and seemed like a conversation. Things like why pharmacy? Why SIUE? What was the hardest class you took? What kind of first impression do you think you make? How would your friends describe you? What do you do for fun? What kind extracurricular/ volunteer activites do you do? What are some problems in the future of pharmacy? What are you afraid in particular about pharmacy school? etc
How did you prepare for the interview?
I read throught their interview tips online, practiced answering questions with m sis. sdn, read my personal statement
What was the most difficult question?
None of them were really that difficult, plus they were really nice and gave me nice feedback and were encouraging
What impressed you positively?
How friendly and supportive the staff was, the facilties. I think SIUE is going to get better and better
What impressed you negatively?
The location, so faaaaaaaaaar from chicago!
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
There is a Southern Illinois University and a Southwestern Illinois University really close by. I went to second school first and ended up being late to the actual registration (but they were super nice). Make sure you know where the school is, especially if your from out of town!!!
