read articles by POI's as wells as abstracts and bios, bios and abstracts of other faculty, all about school, reviewed and considered my own app., thought about questions to ask and questions i would be asked.

What impressed you positively?

everything. great program, friendly warm students and faculty and staff, pretty campus, great clinic, high match rates, dr nevid loves his program.

What impressed you negatively?

nothing, except maybe the whole train to bus to campus thing.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

how awesome this program is. really upset my prior ranking of programs.

What are your general comments?

first a big group of applicants talking candidly to a current student, the 4 students, 2 profs, 3-4 questions. everyone was great, everyone a great candidate, so just be yourself, you can't fake outshine these folks so just be you. i did that and got in.
