how everyone was super friendly and laid-back. and we got lots of free food.

What impressed you negatively?

I didn't like that the med school is split up into two campuses that are 20 minutes apart

I'd advise staying with a student host, because you can learn so much about the school to talk about in your interview the next day. Plus all the student hosts are extremely friendly.
