How did you prepare for the interview?

Re-read all essays, and review AMCAS and secondary apps. Read up on the school's curriculum, any clubs or other activities they offer that I was interested in, generally familiarize yourself with Duke.

What impressed you positively?

Assc. Director of Admissions (Richard Wallace's) talk about the Duke Community.

What impressed you negatively?

Nothing. Really, I thought the basic science all being in the first year was going to be a negative, but I talked to several (close to 20) students, and they all said it was manageable.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

That my student host was going to cook me dinner, and make me breakfast in the morning.

What are your general comments?

The staff and students were all extremely nice, very accommodating, and the whole experience gave me a very positive impression of the school.
