⭐ Overall Impressions

How did the interview impress you?

No change 😐

What was the stress level of the interview?

5 out of 10
0 = Low Stress, 10 = High Stress

What are your general comments?

Tufts is a good school with a lot of resources; it doesn't have anything really above and beyond unique about it, but I certainly wouldn't mind going there (if I don't get into a cheaper state school, that is).
💬 Interview Process

What is one of the specific questions they asked you?

Tell us about your research.

What was the most interesting question?

"How will you pay for your education?" This led into "loans and school are two simultaneous stresses - how will you deal?"

How did you prepare for the interview?

Read lots of interview advice from many sources, then looked at Tufts website.

What was the most difficult question?

See above. It was asked in a confrontational way that surprised me.

What impressed you positively?

Good facilities, a generally well-rounded school with something for everybody (i.e. they don't emphasize research but all of the resources are there if you want them). The assoc. dean of admissions was a great help.

What impressed you negatively?

It's not in the best part of town, but it's all right.
