How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

9 out of 10

How did you prepare for the interview?

Just read the PBL flyer and school website.

What impressed you positively?

the staff were very friendly and financial aid was honest about the high cost of attending. A lot of helpful information was given during the financial aid session. Facilities were nice and lots of clinics

What impressed you negatively?

almost 500k in debt after graduating; the tour

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

That I was going to have no idea how they would choose students from the way the interview is conducted.

What are your general comments?

If you really want to go to USC, be very active during the mock PBL session - but not too aggressive. I think they're looking for students who are not only involved, but also open and courteous to their peers. It was a very stress-free and relaxing day, but weird in the sense that you have no idea how they're gonna choose applicants.

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

I would highly suggest having the tour early on in the interview process.
