How did you prepare for the interview?

What impressed you positively?

There was a lot that impressed me. I was impressed by how much the dean raved about the program and that he really took the time to get to know us and explain not only Ole MIss' pharmacy program to us, but the pharmacy profession in general. I was also impressed by how cheap off-campus living would have been.

What impressed you negatively?

The fact that I didn't know any kind of schedule UNTIL I got there.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

I wish they had given me more info to plan accordingly. I also wish I had known that I was missing so many prereqs ahead of time.

What are your general comments?

2010 is special for Ole Miss admissions; they did not get many applications, therefore if you have the minimum GPA/PCAT AND have taken all of THEIR required prereqs, you're basically in. They aren't going to have a full class this year, which would have had many advantages. I really wish I had been admitted.

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

Tell students the prereqs they are missing. I was unaware I was missing so many and this costed me my admission to the school. Also, they should give more information as to what exactly Applicant Day will entain. I am from FL, so trying to make flight/hotel accomodations were really hard to make because I never had information as to when I needed to be there and when I would be leaving.
