Do you feel that Biomedical Engineering (BE) is over used in the US and what do you think the implications are? (I was probably asked this question since my interest is veterinary public health)
I reviewed the interview feedback on SDN,read over my VMCAS application, reviewed the research I had done, and looked up common UK zoonotic diseases
What impressed you positively?
I was impressed how relaxed and comfortable the interview was. I didn't feel as if I were being quizzed for answers.
What impressed you negatively?
Nothing impacted my negatively, the whole process was positive!
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
I wish I had known that the interview was really all about me and what I had to say. I wouldn't have wasted so much time studying materials since the interview revolved around my application.
What are your general comments?
Review your VMCAS and be yourself! They are interested in you as an applicant and what you have to say, not what facts you can memorize.
What are your suggestions for the admissions office?
I do not have any, they have been wonderful to work with!
