What was the most interesting question?
What kind of artwork/photography are you interested in?(when I told him I was a photographer).
How did you prepare for the interview?
Reading sdn forums and practicing in front of family and friends. Sometimes talking out questions to myself when no audience was available.
What impressed you positively?
The graciousness of all the people I encountered at the school. Everyone was beyond helpful and friendly.
What impressed you negatively?
The city itself is a little gray. It's not exactly pretty, but I think the friendly people make up for it.
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
I wasn't particularly surprised by anything except the fact that I wasn't fed lunch (not a big deal though).

All other optometry admissions offices should take a note from Southern. They are by far the most helpful, knowledgable and pleasant to speak with. They are extremely personable.
