10 out of 10

How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

9 out of 10

How did you prepare for the interview?

Reviewed school specific thread.

What impressed you positively?

Wonderful faculty interviewer. Strong support for research ventures. Very livable, friendly city.

What impressed you negatively?

Student tour guide and student interviewer seemed kind of lethargic. Maybe I caught them at a bad time?

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

Student interviewer kind of gave up asking questions midway during interview and (I guess) expected me just to ask him questions for the remainder. Also that they wait list 90%+ of their interviewees. ):

What are your general comments?

A solid school. Pittsburgh may be too small for my taste, but it would be hard to turn down their research program.

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

They did everything quite efficiently and smoothly! Probably the most informative finaid presentation to date out of my interviews.
