I checked the last two years of the SND school-specific forums for other students' experiences, held 2-3 mock interviews with current medical students.
What was the most difficult question?
You have no family or connections in Alabama, why do you want to go to medical school here?
The staff and faculty were very welcoming, friendly, and very communicable. The school facilities impressed me the most!
What impressed you negatively?
Interviews were pushed forward unannounced to first thing in the morning due to a scheduling conflict, but ended up working out for the best, got it out of the way and enjoyed the rest of the interview.
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
Honestly, I never felt unprepared during the interview day. Every question was straight-forward and one I was expecting.
