✅ Interview Preparation and Impressions

How is the friendliness of the admissions office?

No responses

How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

No responses

How did you prepare for the interview?

read my app, read the school's website. looked over sdn.

What impressed you positively?

the buildings on campus are beautiful. grady hospital (the inner-city hospital in atlanta) would be a great place to learn hands-on clinical medicine.

What impressed you negatively?

the very traditional curriculum. the sort of run-down lecture halls and labs.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

not to say "pop." it's all coke. :) one of my best friends is an M2 there, so i knew a lot about the school already.

What are your general comments?

there is one one-on-one interview and one panel interview. my panel interview was weird, like they had one question and asked each one of us. the three of us didn't really interact any. it was like a one-on-one interview in front of other people. overall, though, a pretty laid-back day. they take you on a long comprehensive tour of grady hospital, which i enjoyed. it was a good day, a good school, and atlanta seems like a good place to live. the curriculum is a little too traditional for me, though.
