How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

How did you prepare for the interview?

Read the website and SDN.

What impressed you positively?

Family-like atmosphere of the school despite its large size, beautiful residential campus, and enthusiastic student body

What impressed you negatively?

Small number of students engaged in research, short summer vacations, run-down student lounge

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

There's an optional session at 2:30 about the PIL program. Otherwise, the day is pretty much over at 1:30 or 2 pm.

What are your general comments?

The student interviewer was fantastic, very enthusiastic. The faculty interviewer was laid back and very interested in being my advocate on the admissions committee. However, my interviewer didn't read my file before or during my interview; he said he preferred to get to know me as a person first.
