How did you prepare for the interview?

AMCAS, U Pitt Brochure (A WONDERFUL resource), Secondaries

What impressed you positively?

The facilities are great, Pittsburgh is beautiful, my faculty interviewer and I really clicked, and the admissions director is very outgoing.

What impressed you negatively?

They don't let you know about admissions unitl late February.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

You can walk to the med school from most of the hotels listed on the U Pitt website (I stayed at Hampton Inn).

What are your general comments?

U Pitt was not close to the top of my medical school list, but they really impressed me. Their problem-base learining is not the whole focus of their classes, but it is really cool and still a major part of the learning there. My faculty interviewer was awesome, and I actually enjoyed talking to him.
