Fantastic experience overall. I was really sold on the school and would happily attend. Seems like interviewers ask fairly consistent questions, according to other posts.

What do you think of the Columbine high school tragedy? (I'm from Colorado)
What was the most interesting question?
Philosophical-type question on how my area of research related to another.
How did you prepare for the interview?
Read "Health Care Meltdown" by Robert LeBow and everything on UCI-COM website.
What was the most difficult question?
Research-related questions, and what I thought of the current state of American health care plus some follow up questions.
What impressed you positively?
EVERYTHING. I loved the school - the students seemed very happy and charismatic to be there, atmosphere seemed centered around student quality of life, and considerable effort was taken by hosts to to alleviate interview stress.
What impressed you negatively?
Not a lot of people hanging out around the College of Medicine... strange, seemed like a holiday.
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
Glad I read up for those health care system questions.
